| Ski resort : Yllas (Oo-lass)Yllas - ski resort is situated in Kolari, on the Swedish border of Finland, deep within the magical landscapes of West Lapland. Its 43 runs are spread over seven fells that have a 463meter vertical, the highest in the country; Yllas is also home to the longest ski run in Finland of three km. Many runs are perfect for beginners and families. The slopes are four kilometers from the resort and many are above the tree-line. You can ski all the way back or use the free ski bus link. Snowboarders will experience plenty of thrills at the fine terrain park and pipes. The greatest attraction is the hundreds of km of outstanding cross country trails, and the Pallas-Yllas National Park provides unforgettable experiences.
