With more than 60km of groomed cross country trails there’s a lot to see across the picturesque Bogong High Plains. You might even catch a glimpse of the Australian National Cross Country Team who call Falls Creek home every winter. We are also the proud hosts of the largest international snowsports event in the southern hemisphere, the Kangaroo Hoppet, which forms part of the prestigious World Loppet race circuit.

Mt Hotham

Mount Hotham has always been known as a "serious skier" mountain, this was in part due to the roads into Hotham and in part due to the nature of the runs at Hotham. Nearest town Harrietville 34km. Highest elevation 1850m, base elevation 1450m, downhill skiable area 245ha, downhill longest run 2.5km.

Perisher Blue

Perisher is about 500 km and 5.5 to 6 hours drive from Sydney, and about 2.5 hours drive from Canberra. From Sydney, the road as far as Canberra is dual carriageway, and after Canberra is a good road with frequent overtaking lanes. Winter Season June - October. Highest Lift 2034m, vertical drop 429m, longest run 3km. Terrain Parks Halfpipe, 4 progressive Terrain Parks.

Thredbo, with the highest lifted point in Australia, is just a snowball"s throw from Mt Kosciusko, the highest peak. This means the snow tends to start sooner and last longer. Thredbo is nestled in the valley with magnificent views of Mt Crackenback, which provides a wide variety of skiable slopes from beginner-friendly to advanced-awesome.
